where I live, winter is in full retreat (10 degrees yesterday and today).
but I hope that winter keeps its positions in the mountains - hiking in mud is not that much fun

It wants to go high. Below 1000m everything will be soft :-)
I will be at 1100-1200m asl this Saturday. Hopes for snow are high (but I will hit mud between the snow line and the parking...)
