Some people can't even succeed in lying, their reaction or behaviour will reveal the truth before the lie is told.
I hope she listens to you and not try to do that again, it isn't good at all.

That is true, but I was able to convince her family even though I was so scared
She didn't listen, but she didn't make me lie to her family anyway.
