Misconceptions & Mistakes ~ Lessons To Achievements

It may seem hard to believe but I had a real difficulty to start writing on this topic, not because the topic itself is difficult but because I tend to overthink with topics like this. Recounting things that has happened, how things had been and how things are right now is never an easy one for me but the beauty of it all is, I get to relive moments and have it recorded once again.

It's been more than a year with Hive learners and it's amazing weekly prompts, the changes from when I started to now is tremendous and I can't say thank you enough to everyone who contributed to the success I have now.

I see creating contents as a huge responsibility than it seem, it's not easy to share contents that people would want to consume and daily but with Hive learners, I've had misconceptions, made mistakes, learnt lessons and I've achieved so much to the extent of creating contents with no fear of "Would people want to read this?" as I have my mind prepared.

The misconceptions I had about Hive Learners community.

I thought hard to remember my first days with the Hive learners community and it took back to when I first saw a post in the community through my feed, the post directed me to their discord channel to get verified so I can become a member. At first, I thought it seem quite too cool to be real as I saw the member tag as a very huge sign of commitment from the person who has it.

So yeah, I delayed getting verified so I don't get in on a wrong foot through discord (which I wasn't so used to back then). You could say I saw Hive learners community as a very big organization on Hive not to mess with and I wasn't sure I could meet their criteria to stay committed 😅

Here I am today looking back in smiles that I chose to be committed and I've been on a sweet ride since then.

The mistakes I made as a member of Hive learners community.

Okay, this might turn out to be some silly info to know but we're all here to share our mistakes anyways so don't count mine against me hehe. Back to when I started as a new member in the community, I got too excited about my verification so I wrote an intro post about it as if I had just started out on Hive generally 😅 it may not seem like a mistake but the me now wish I didn't bother to do that.

There was also a time I made the mistake of leaving comments in my posts unattended to, this could count as intentional mistakes as I felt it was most important that I share a good content. That habit didn't last long though as I got corrected and since then, I've been much addicted to reply every good comment on my contents.

The lessons I've learned in Hive Learners community.

With the misconceptions and mistakes I've had to go through, lessons were inevitable. I keep learning from every little time I spend here in the community. From the various topics, I've learnt to be more consistent in thinking outside the box and making my content stand out enough in the midst of the many members we have here.

I'm not saying my contents are the best but they are way better than when I started. Designing images for my contents have improved over time and it is one of the sweet lessons I learnt from some members in the community. I'm yet to start using only my original images on my content but designing images myself has been a lesson well learned for me.

I've also learned to keep learning as Hive learners as the name implies means, I should keep learning so having an open mind to learn new things as much as I can has been my way around growing and making improvements.

My achievements in the Hive Learners community.

There are so much achieved and even so much more to be achieved with Hive learners. I've achieved a lot of set goals I made with the community and even surpassed them, this is thanks to the consistency I've learned through my years here.

Becoming a bonafide member, bringing in new users who have become members too, getting connected to more users and growing my circle on Hive are all achievements I'll have the community to thank for.

The journey continues and I'm excited to see where it all leads to as I continue with my consistency in love for writing and engaging with Hive users... It is a journey of more mistakes and lessons towards achievements.

Wow, this is huge congratulations lady.

I also love how people designed their images but it's very confusing to me up till now and I don't know how to go about it.

Everyone made one silly mistake then and can smile about it now. Mine was that I gave up for about 2 months when I wasn't getting rewarded on my post.....but I later got to know that consistency and intentional engagment brings rewards over time.

Everyone has to learn how to design as it helps the post look more original or personal.
