Memorable Moments From Half The Year

It's half into the new year, seems this year is running fast after all. I thought it was running too slow until I realized it's June already. The year started on a good note for me and I've been feeling positive about it even with my service full of uncertainty was one of the major happening I was expecting.

Well, here I am about to share some fun moments I experienced in the last six month (half the year)... This fact alone shows that the year is not so bad for me and I am grateful for that.

Out of the many uncertainties that unraveled this year, the sad moments, the weak points, the strong points, the turnouts, the less expected... There are two fun moments that has succeeded to make my first six months of the year memorable and makes me feel grateful and excited about the coming next months.

One of those fun moments was my close friend turn sis' wedding ceremony.

It came with a lot of stress and unexpected turnouts as it is with planning wedding ceremony but on the day, it was a huge success and I was among the many who was happy that she got married with no problems encountered at last. As you can see from the picture above, I was one of her bridal girls and that came with it's expenses for me.

Thanks to her wedding ceremony, I made new friends, got a new wear I could use in other function as she put that into consideration when choosing our wears, and I also got to help out a good deal in making her day much memorable.

Other experiences that taught me new things during the wedding also make me feel grateful about that moment, I could still remember how excited we all were with the bride as the day drew closer. I remember the tears of mother and daughter when she was about to be escorted to her groom... It was a "tears of joy" moment for all of us present.

Another fun moment was when my team conquered another team in finals.

I know I've shared about this before but I doubt I'll stop talking about it at any chance I get to say it, it was one of those first time experiences but also my best moment in the first six months of the year. I played volleyball for the first time and I won with my team for the first time.

It started like a joke to me until I felt all the fun in playing the game and I saw it as a chance to create a moment for myself and also for my team, so I put more efforts into learning better how to play the game since it was a first time thing for me.

Through the practices, the tension between my team mates, the quarrels and most importantly, the semi games before the finals, it was all an experience of fun for me. But I can't forget the day we actually won the first place and the joys we brought to all our team supporters.

I can still remember how almost all of them wanted to hug every one of us in the team, they were that excited and I felt so good about it even though it seem like the game I engaged in then don't have much impact on me right now. Aside that, I had a memorable fun moment thanks to that game.

The year is going great and I pray it goes even better unto the next year and like that, staying positive is one of my ways to seeing this happen for me.
