Melody Masters: Which Country Takes The Crown?
When it comes to music, I honestly wish there should be no comparison. Music is a whole world on it's own, differs in style, rhythm and melody so if we really want to compare in music, we would have to compare in style and then in rhythm and just like that, for each difference music displays. I doubt I'll be able to give an unbiased comparison.
I went through the long list of songs I have on my phone, the ones I play regularly and the ones I tend to play only at sometime in my life, one thing I realized is, I have all kinds music genre and that is my first sign that I have never bothered to think which country does the best music. I play songs from different and many countries so this is hard.
I think I've written about this before, songs from the 80s and 90s if compared to songs from now, and I did say the old songs will win but it doesn't mean songs of now are below standard too. That comparison would be quite easy than actually comparing music generally and bringing in country, every country with their style and impact.
I read from someone that we can't pick another country for their music as Nigerians, he thinks it doesn't make any sense. While I'm not trying to disregard the beauty of music Nigerian musicians have displayed, I can't give it a 100% to my country that they take the crown in music for obvious reasons and I will share what they are.
I'm a Nigerian and yes, I love their music and the culture they show in it, our music is actually very beautiful but not all the kinds catches my fancy. In Nigerian music, I have my favourite kinds and that is the limiting factor for them not taking the crown. Does this mean there is a country with no limiting factor in their music to take the crown?
I'm a big lover of songs from the country Korea, I've even been loving their kpop songs since recently and I enjoy how their songs make me feel. I'd be tempted to give them the crown if I am strongly biased but then, they have the same limiting factor for me. I have a lot of American songs, songs from Tanzania, and many others.
The crown for the country that does make the best music should go to no country, yes, that's my response to the prompt. I have no unique reason to give it to my country or to America or to Korea but I definitely love most of the music they produce and they are all unique in their own way. Maybe I'd give a better response by top 10.
I feel choosing one from the many will make the other country music seem less and they are by no means any less to me, I love music and I think the diversity in music is what makes it what it is in our ears from wherever we listen to it from. Music should be enjoyed so long it's clear, and connects with it's listener, and not minding whichever country the artist or listener is from.

Wow, Korea also has good music. Nice entry
Yeah, they do.
You're so right, music isn’t something that should be boxed in by borders or countries. It’s such a personal and emotional experience. Interesting read ❤️🤗
Yeah, no need to limit the power and diversity of music 😌
