Get A Bicycle! A Bicycle Inspired Comedy

I tagged this a comedy so I don't come off rude to anyone while sharing my thoughts about what I got thinking about, although I doubt I would since they are only true facts. You'll get to find out as you read on.

Earlier this year, I got the highest temptation to get a bicycle for myself and if I could, I'll also get one for my dad. But since I had a lot of other things to spend money on, I couldn't have enough to buy one.

Why was I going to get one? Here is my funny but very sensible reason!

Here in my country, fuel price went high. Really high, like triple the amount it was before this year. We got a new president and he figured he should work on fuel price first before anything so the drastic increase in price led to less use of anything that uses fuel to run and that included motor cars, motor bikes, light Generators and even the different machines ladies uses for their hair care.

Then I saw a neighbour who I had never seen ride a bicycle before going back home with a new and nice bicycle in his car back 😅 I thought it so wise to have a bicycle at a time where fuel price is way too high to handle as a car owner who isn't doing a transportation business with it.

The more I thought about it, more reasons came to mind, reasons that I'm not even sure the bicycle inventor thought of while creating it. I'll share some and I hope you'll agree with me while laughing about it lol.

Get a Bicycle for these reasons especially as a Nigerian.

I know my country isn't the only place with high fuel price so everyone gather here and see more reasons you should get a bicycle (I'll get one soon, I know I will hehe).

Bicycles don't use fuel: It is the first most important reason for you to get one if you're in a country with high fuel price. You get to not but fuel at all for it since it doesn't require any, that way you're saving some money to spend on other things instead.

Bicycles have natural air conditioner: Who doesn't like that light breeze touching one's face as you ride on a bike? You don't have to try to turn on AC that uses up your car battery if you're using a bicycle.

Bicycles are economical: Unlike motor bikes and cars, bicycles don't have engines that you'll need to keep servicing or spare parts that is too hard to find or expensive to get.

Bicycles need no document check: I don't know about other countries but here, motor owners do have to prove the ownership of their cars almost everyday they go out with it. It is very unlikely to happen when you use a bicycle.

Some bicycles have a passenger seat: You're saving more if you have this kind of bike, you get to move things easily with it or even help someone not to spend on a transportation fee 😅 what an additional income if it's a family member lol.

Bicycles are perfect to avoid traffic: Who gets stuck in traffic with a bike when you could carry it and walk your way through or even ride on it depending how serious the traffic is.

Bicycles don't give brake failure experience: Incase of a brake failure, it's only natural and very easy to use your legs to balance up and continue riding lol.

Bicycles are good for you health: I know this reason was predictable and yeah, I can't mention the benefits of having a bicycle with this one. Using bicycle keeps you fit and strengthens your muscles. For the heavy weight ones, it helps you lose some weight hehe.

And lastly, bicycles are the latest trend now, join the trend!

Many people are getting bicycles now so it is gradually becoming a classic form of transportation, join the trend! 😅 It's even more amazing that this form of transportation is good for both men and women, young people and even for kids but depending on where it is being used.
