𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆'𝒔 𝑨 "π‘«π’Šπ’†" 𝑰𝒏 "π‘«π’Šπ’†π’•π’Šπ’π’ˆ" - Eat Healthy & Stay Fit

Okay, maybe that's a bit too dark for a title but it's the simple truth about Dieting and it's actions. I saw in a movie where a lady almost lost her life just because she wanted to keep fit by going on a diet. She wasn't fat, she just wanted to make sure she never adds more weight but the way she went about it almost killed her.

This lady began to lose more weight, weight that I think she needed. She got to the point where she throws up if she ate a little too much, she even forced the throw up sometimes. It was a very rare sight to watch for me, how far people go to keep fit or look good.

Aside the fact that dieting could threaten taking one's life if taken to the extreme, it can also cause an unhappy feeling for the individual. There's hardly one who is trying to lose weight that is happy about it, they are too conscious and intentional about their body weight that they forget to have fun, be happy and stay true to themselves.

While some people have achieved good body weight with this, there are a lot of people out there who do same but no result and this is because they failed to figure out what works for them. I know some people get quite unlucky to have the kind of body that whatever they eat, they just add weight with it. But I believe one can adjust his or her lifestyle to keep a healthy weight.

Going on a diet should be replaced with eating healthy meals only. There is a difference and the focus is also different. You are focusing on keeping a good health through the kind of meals you eat rather than being obsessed with your weight and intentionally skipping meals or eating specific kind of meals.

"You are what you eat" is a popular saying and that also means, eating healthy to look and stay healthy.

Like my friends will always, I should be grateful for the kind of body and weight I have. I could go a whole year with no intentional exercise and eat a lot but gain little or no weight. I saw my relatives some weeks ago after many years and the first thing a lot of them said was, "You've not changed at all" because I still looked like I looked years ago in body size.

But even with my kind of body, I know the importance of exercise and eating healthy so I do not joke with it. Dieting and exercise could be done to the extreme and that is when it becomes toxic to the individual. There's always the need for moderation in whatever we do especially when it involves our body and life in general.

I would suggest going the "eat healthy, stay fit" way than dieting. For those who must lose weight, I believe they know what is causing them more weight so they need discipline to get rid of it and focus on maintaining healthy body weight.

This title got be real time 🀣🀣
I love what you said
I still don’t think there is a reason for a slim person who doesn’t have the potential to get fat to start doing diet. Although, the person should be careful of what they diet. If a person have the potential of getting fat due to genetics, then they can be on diet to help them watch their wait and every fat person should just hit the gym please. Forget doing only diet, eat good and exercise well for that good body shape.
But merit, you don’t look like someone that eat much o. I’m suspecting you’re doing diet 🌚🌚

Did you have to end your comment with trouble shots? πŸ˜‚

I'm not on diet at all, I've been eating a lot since recently. I found out I won't add much even if I eat a lot so 😁

I think many people think that stopping eating food means dieting and it's totally a misconception. A proper diet of food must contain high nutrients but low calories. Diet food is always good but diet food and physical exercise combined are the best but in my case, I don't bother myself to do physical exercise. Hehe, I am the lazy one.

Lol you're not lazy, you just don't see the need for it like others do. And you have a good body size too 😁

... "You've not changed at all" because I still looked like I looked years ago in body size.

I could say this too for one of my friends. Her old pictures looks so much as she is in her present. Honestly, if one knows his/her body response to food and exercise, it would stop all the necessary drama of punishing one's body all in the name of "I want to reduce fat"

Eating healthy and in moderation is the best πŸ‘Œ

That's just it, know what works for you and stick with that. No imitation, it doesn't favour everyone πŸ˜…

Too much of everything is bad. Just like its bad to eat too much and become obsessed, it is also bad to eat too little or not eat at all just to become tiny.

I think is it lack of self appropriation that makes people go extreme with diet. They see people with the slimmest of waist and want to be like them at all cost forgetting that we are all different. Some people might eat the world if it were to be a good and still remain slim, and some might diet till death and still be shobby or fat, what ever the case may be.

The best thing is to first accept what ever type of body you have and then work on make it the best version of itself through exercise
