OVERCOMING ADDICTION #183
Breaking free from social media addiction is a journey, and it's awesome I am taking steps to overcome it. For me, it is been about recognizing the triggers that make me reach for my phone, like boredom or habit. I have started replacing social media time with reading books, writing, and even taking walks. It is funny, I used to think social media was helping me stay connected, but now I see it is just a distraction from real-life connections.

One thing I have noticed is that after hours of scrolling, I don't feel fulfilled or like I have learned anything meaningful. It is like my brain is just going through the motions. But when I read a book or write, I feel more engaged and like I am growing as a person.
Dealing with addiction is tough, but it is worth it. If you don't tackle it, it will keep affecting your relationships, productivity, and even your mental health. For me, it is about being intentional with my time and focusing on activities that add value to my life.
Deal with your addiction today.
Hey there!
We are delighted that you have discovered our community, and we look forward to seeing you around:)
We trust that you have seen our Introduction, Content Ideas & Posting Guidelines, which could be a great tool for the inspiration of content.
There's always some activity in the community, namely, our weekly publication called #KISS (an acronym for our community motto, Keep It Simple & Smart), presents you with blog ideas for the week, to boost community activities.
A #KISS publication is always pinned on the community's feed.
Secondly, we have our Daily/Weekly Theme topics, where you can find the active week, however, you are free to present any minimalist-focused post at any time, as long as it is original content.
We do prefer original photos over sourced photos from the internet, and we find relevant photos to conceptualise your stories more interesting.
Welcome again, and see you around the community.
Thank
You're definitely right and I can relate to that as well. I tend to spend hours scrolling and scrolling, admiring this and that but overtime, I realised it's a waste of time. No added value, knowledge, insight and gradually, I started drifting from it.
And the thing is you don't realize you are getting addicted you just keep scrolling
Thank you for stopping by
Eggxactly...... You're welcome ☺️
