MY STRONG WOMAN

Greetings, lovely ladies of Hive

This is my participation for ladies of hive community contest #260 as @merit.ahama brings us two important questions and I will talk on the best advice I received from a strong woman?

Life is richer when we have someone to advise and motivate us, often not through words alone, but through the example they set.

My greatest source of inspiration is my mother, Mrs. Emily. She has been my rock, and her words have stayed with me to this day. I have witnessed her overcome incredible challenges, and I am grateful I can draw strength from her experiences.

Her most impactful advice was simple yet profound

Never give up on your dreams, keep pushing till you get there. Those words have become my mantra, a reminder to persevere even when the journey gets tough.

But it is not just her words that inspire me, it is her remarkable story. She grew up in a time when girls were not encouraged to pursue education, but she defied the odds. With her mother's support, she worked multiple jobs to fund her education, from fetching water on construction sites to eventually graduating from the College of Education.

Her journey was marked by obstacles, including health scares that could have derailed her dreams. Yet she persisted, and her faith played a huge role in her resilience. She has always encouraged me to pray, to seek guidance, and to trust in a higher power.

She has also instilled in me the value of financial independence, urging me to work hard and be self sufficient. Her dedication to her business is a testament to her strength and entrepreneurial spirit.

Her advice and example have shaped me, and I am grateful for the lessons she has taught me. I am excited to share her story and celebrate the power of inspiration in our lives.
