Every weekend is a time to do those things you don't have time to do during the week... When the end approaches, the thought is to finish or leave for those days the arrangements you didn't have time to do. Usually, household chores.

This was my thought years ago: leaving the end for grocery shopping, fixing the house, washing, and whatever else a household requires, plus the entertainment that had to be accommodated because the children had their social lives, and wanting to rest at home and stay there, to breathe, was a bit of a no-no.

This weekend, I'm going to yoga classes on Saturday and Sunday mornings. This has become a routine for about six months now, since I decided to participate in these types of activities. Since the schedule is from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. So we chat, do the necessary things for the day's class, finish, and say goodbye until the next day.

Then, on the way back home, we buy some things for the day's lunch. When we get home, we organize a bit what was bought. Today, Saturday, I made vegan cookies. This wasn't in the plan, but it still came about that way... this is something that's different about this Saturday compared to other days. There's no more cleaning, no more laundry, no more grocery shopping... just the essentials for the day. Resting, yes, and enjoying the tranquility of my house, too. I also allow myself to listen to Christmas songs, although not the typical ones from my country; I leave those for later. For now, I'm working on the ones I listen to in the Christmas movies I watch, even though it's not the season, since it's almost here.

If there's an unexpected invitation, I don't rule it out and I participate in it. There's no longer the strictness of time, wondering if I can or have to do other things.
