El día más esperado del mes [Esp/Eng]

La semana pasada llegó el día más esperado del mes, la cita para arreglarme las uñas. El diseño anterior era espectacular, pero el crecimiento ya se notaba demasiado, así que era momento de renovarlo.

Siempre me encanta ir con la misma manicurista. Desde el principio ha cuidado muchísimo mis uñas naturales y, además, es súper amigable. Eso hace que no pase dos horas aburrida esperando a que termine, sino que disfrute conversando con ella. Me encanta escuchar sus historias, compartimos las mismas ideas locas para diseños, y es muy divertido porque cuando le propongo una idea, ella siempre le agrega detalles extra y el resultado termina siendo increíble.

Esta vez no llevaba un diseño específico en mente; solo sabía que quería algo con vibra veraniega pero a mi estilo. Generalmente, las uñas de verano tienen colores muy vibrantes y no son mis favoritos. Cuando le comenté mi idea, me dijo: “¿Confías en mí?”. Y para mí, esa frase siempre es señal de que se le ocurrió otra de sus ideas locas.

También quería mostrarles cómo va creciendo mi uña natural. Cada vez me sorprende lo fuerte y saludable que se ve, es un gran avance en poco tiempo. Esta vez me hicieron un semipermanente normal, pero ya me dijeron que en la próxima cita usarán una base un poco más resistente si pienso mantener el largo.

Tener estas citas siempre es súper relajante, pero en esta oportunidad pasó algo chistoso: su hija más pequeña estuvo con nosotras casi todo el tiempo, escuchando unos videos muy graciosos sobre Ballerina Capuchina. La manicurista me miraba un poco apenada porque su hija los descubrió recientemente y ahora era lo único que quería escuchar. A mí, en cambio, me causó mucha gracia y ternura, porque al mismo tiempo se quedaba tranquilita acompañando a su mamá mientras veía sus comiquitas.

El resultado final me encantó. En mi diseño anterior, me fascinó que una de mis uñas tuviera un poco relieve, pero esta vez lo aplicamos en toda una uña y me gustó muchísimo. Además, logré justo lo que quería: un diseño con vibra veraniega, perfecto para estas vacaciones.⛱️🌊

Last week came the most awaited day of the month, the appointment to do my nails. The previous design was spectacular, but the growth was already too noticeable, so it was time to renew it.

I always love going to the same manicurist. From the beginning she has taken great care of my natural nails and she is super friendly. That means I don't spend two hours bored waiting for her to finish, I enjoy chatting with her. I love hearing her stories, we share the same crazy ideas for designs, and it's so much fun because when I propose an idea, she always adds extra details and the result ends up being amazing.

This time I didn't have a specific design in mind; I just knew I wanted something with a summer vibe but in my style. Generally, summer nails have very vibrant colors and they are not my favorite. When I told her about my idea, she said, “Do you trust me?”. And for me, that phrase is always a sign that she came up with another one of her crazy ideas.

I also wanted to show you how my natural nail is growing. Every time I'm amazed at how strong and healthy it looks, that's a lot of progress in a short time! This time I had a normal semi-permanent done, but they already told me that at the next appointment they will use a slightly stronger base coat if I plan to keep the length.

Having these appointments is always super relaxing, but this time something funny happened: her youngest daughter was with us almost the whole time, listening to some very funny videos about Ballerina Capuchina. The manicurist looked at me a bit embarrassed because her daughter discovered them recently and now it was the only thing she wanted to listen to. I, on the other hand, was very amused and tender, because at the same time she was quietly accompanying her mom while watching her animated cartoon.

I loved the final result. In my previous design, I was fascinated that one of my nails was embossed, but this time we applied it on the whole nail and I really liked it. Besides, I got just what I wanted: a design with a summery vibe, perfect for these vacations. ⛱️🌊
