The Broken Blacksmith (Quest)

Today, I meet Yuna, my saviour, to help free her brother, Taka (a legendary blacksmith) from Mongol's prison in Azamo Bay. The problem is that the place is heavily guarded by a dozen Mongols. And we need to make sure her brother is alive. Guarding others while defeating a dozen enemies will not be possible, so staying alert will be the only way.

We need help from Yuna's friend, Kenji, to get into Azamo Bay. Kenji has been a merchant in Azamo Bay for quite some time. The Mongols like his
brewer. So, we will use this opportunity to sneak into Azamo Bay.

While on my way to Kenji's house, I fought an unavoidable battle. It was easy and quick. But what caught my attention was that the patrol troop has been upgraded.

After winning the battle, it took me a while to ride and reach a new place. When I reached River Child's Wetland, it was already night. So I am guessing another night quest for today. Kenji's house was not far from here.

Upon arriving at Kenji's house, I heard Yuna and Kenji talking. It seems that Kenji refused to help because it was too risky. He doesn't want to get killed by the horse's blood-sucking people (the Mongols). But, after a while, Kenji sighs and admits that he owes Yuna. Taka (Yuna's brother) is counting on them both.

After discussing the strategy, we headed down the main road to Azamo Bay. Kenji told us that the Mongols love their Dars. Something that can make them drunk. Kenji asked how I knew Yuna, so I told our story about how Yuna saved me from the war. Now I am saving Taka because Taka can forge to win the war.

Our chitchat doesn't last long, we saw Mongols not far from us. This means Azoma Bay is nearby. Kenji told us to get into the cart. Staying in the cart was a good idea, there were a lot of Mongols guarding outside the fort. It makes me think that after I finish this quest, I will go back to this bay, kill every Mongol in this area, and claim Azoma Bay.

After we get inside, Kenji plays his role. Selling his dars keeps the Mongol distracted. Meanwhile, Yuna and I have to stay hidden and search for some clues to find Taka's whereabouts. After careful observation, we found out that the yellow man was the leader of the place. So we follow him around and keep him hidden.

It's quite alarming to stay hidden. Some of the guards need to be killed to clear the way. It's lucky that they didn't realize we were coming. The moment they realized this was after my knife slit their throat, and that's too late.

We finally locate Taka's whereabouts. The leader was about to kill Taka when he arrived, but Yuna's quick reflex not only prevented Taka from being killed but also ended the leader's life.

Taka cannot believe his eyes. His sister came to rescue him. They finally meet after being separated for a long time. Taka seems tired and hungry, and he still finds it hard to believe me. But after Yuna explains, Taka wants to be saved and is willing to follow us. He still feels traumatised by the cruel Mongols, who take life easily.

Not long after leaving where Yuna killed the leader, the alarm has been sound. We move faster and get outside the fort safely. Now, we had to stay hidden because there were many Mongols's army patrolling outside and alarmed. Our lives were in danger. One wrong move, and the whole army might come to us.

We saw a dozen of the Mongols' army searching for us. We need to stay hidden and try to avoid fighting at all costs. Kenji was waiting for us not far from here with runaway horses. So, I need to stay focused and calm so as not to cause any unnecessary fights. I will come back later and fight, for sure.

Kenji brought enough horses for us. We ride to the top of the hill, Archer's Rise, and stay far away from the alarmed Mongols' army.

After reaching the top of Archer's Rise, We take a rest. Kenji was the first to say goodbye, and we thank him for his help. Taka promised to help me with anything. It's good to have a legendary blacksmith by my side in this war.

After saying goodbye to Yuna and Taka, I am alone at the peak of Archer's Rise. I took some of the photos while in here, enjoying the view and Kenji's Dars. It was an amazing and memorable view. I hope you like it.
