Family Fishing Trip Day 2
Yesterday, in my post, I mentioned that my in-laws had requested to go fishing at sea side. I didn’t immediately say yes because I wanted to check the weather first.
Today, from midnight (last night) until morning, it rained continuously, but not too heavily. In the morning, the rain stopped for a while but then started again until noon. So, Nenek Ama probably thought I had decided not to go fishing anymore. But I noticed that the rain wasn’t too heavy. By noon, the rain had slowed down and eventually stopped. Suddenly, I felt like going fishing after all.
After my wife packed a few things and prepared food for the kids (who stayed home with their aunt, my wife’s younger sister), we set off for the sea.
The round trip was about 90 km. We arrived at the beach around 3 PM, and I was really grateful because the weather turned out to be great! The ground was still a bit wet from the rain, but the skies looked clear with no signs of more rain. It wasn’t hot, just cloudy and a little cool, perfect weather for fishing! And even better, perfect weather for fish to be active!
We were really lucky. All five of us fished happily! Everyone was excited since they had been looking forward to this trip. When we arrived, we saw that some people had been fishing there since morning—wow!
Our start was promising. We managed to catch a few fish right away. The most we caught were catfish, some as small as a finger, while others were as big as the palm of a hand! Our catch for the day was really satisfying. We fished until midnight, what a great trip!

That's very nice to have a lot of catch! Did you cook the fish you caught that day?
