There was a time when this blog of mine was filled with political rantings. I mean, how could I not talk about politics when the whole world seems to be burning down? A friend, however, told me to tone it down, and since those days I’ve kind of kept these ideas to myself.
Today, I can’t.
Someone needs to explain to me where Pam Bondi got her degree. I mean, I assume she has one — otherwise, how could she be in her position? But I seriously question anyone who would grant her that piece of paper. I’m not saying this because she’s dishonest — she’s proved that over and over — but because she seems to have the IQ of a goldfish, and that’s me being kind.
The TL;DR of the hearing can be summarized like this:
The people who committed these atrocities are still out there.
Why are we not going after them?
Why are the files not being released?

If you haven’t seen the clips, I wouldn’t blame you for thinking I’m lying. It doesn’t sound real. How could it be real? How could it be that the person in charge of the Justice Department is seemingly protecting pedophiles — and it’s fine because, wait for it… the stock market is doing well?
What we are seeing here, my friends, is moral rot being exposed. We, the common folk, are sub-human, it seems. This reminds me of the story of Napoleon who, after being informed of the demise of his troops, simply replied, “Chicken meat is cheap.”
When did taking action against criminals become a partisan issue? I sincerely ask. If anyone right now is rooting to keep these files from coming out, they are literally rooting for the bad guys. There’s nothing left to say.
“But Democrats will go down too!”
Good, I say.
Why does it matter if they are Democrats, Republicans, Garden Gnomes, or Pink Pelicans? If someone raped ten-year-olds, that person should be put in a jail cell and the key thrown away. Why is that something anyone would question?
It all comes down to the cult — the cult people have formed around this “movement” called MAGA. If anything threatens the integrity of the cult, the sanctity of this new church, then it must be disposed of. The survival of the institution is more important than the sacrifices.
After all, it was just chicken meat.
Someone asked me a few years ago, “Why would you leave the first world to come live in a third world country?”
I didn’t say this back then. But if someone asked me the same question now, I would say:

There is a trend for political figure to want to be seen as cruel and nasty. Meanwhile the rich and powerful are being protected.
