Rest in peace Shiek
I'm dating myself here, but what can I say? I grew up with these guys, with Randy Macho Man, Hogan, Rick Flair, and have tons of memories I treasure.
If you are not a true Pro Wrestling fan, you might not know who the Iron Shiek was. But, in many ways, he was the first "bad guy" I hated, the first nemesis. To a Kid like me, he was real, and he hated America.
Of course I know it was all an act, and that he was the complete opposite in real life, but boy did he play his part perfectly.
Some years ago I found the Shiek on twitter and I began to follow the account out of curiosity. It never failed to make me laugh, because even though he was "out the game" he never truly quit being the bad guy.
Rest in peace Jabroni! You will be missed!

The Iron Sheik was such a character! I've watched a bunch of documentaries about him. I am honestly surprised that he lived to be 81, but he was a world class athlete, so I suppose it makes sense.
He was an amazing heel during wrestling, and quite a character after wrestling.
in my opinion the best heel ever...
there's a video of some guys, fit guys, trying to do the trick with the persian clubs... turns out it was quite a feat!
