The encoders do this already. Three different resolutions: 480,720,1080
We've been asked a few times to make the Encoders also do 240 for the reaaaally slow connections. But, we've not done that just yet.

Is there any plans for 4k support? There's some stuff that I'd love to upload to 3speak instead of youtube, but 4k support makes it hard to switch.
storage is expensive... but, if we get enough hotnodes maybe we can do this. Possibly store 4k temporarily, and then slim odown to keeping lower resolutions long term. Although the recursive pinning would make that difficult...

Fair enough. Storing the 4k files will definitely be expensive.
