It's a common thing these days for people to use clickbait titles on their posts, their videos and what have you, and I wish I could tell you that that's precisely what I'm doing but this is not the case at all. I'm lost!

For a while now, different family members have been telling me I should get with the times and download "the Tok". That I need to succumb to the fact that it's become "the way" to share content online.

Wait a minute now...

I think I almost fried my boomerish brain with The Tok yesterday. I mean, I'm not a computer noob, that's not what I'm saying. I was able to download, install and maybe even operate it (poorly) within minutes. BUT

WTF is this?

Random people just staring at their phone doing nothing. NOTHING. Not talking, not sharing art, not even breathing properly.

About five minutes into the lion's den I find myself catching either a "Trump is God, change my mind" stream or a "Trump will consume your soul" one.

But here's my beef....

What happened to quality?

I mean, all I see is terrible, terrible. Except for the saving grace that I found @yidneth, and a couple people I know (thankfully). I would have thought talent was avoiding the platform.

Phone calls were in order....

I'm being told that Skynet does not learn that fast.... yet. I mean, soon it will know which one of my testicles is slightly bigger, but for now, it has no idea what to feed me.

So the plan is: Endure garbage for a few days, and let it learn things you like, until it turns you into an addict.

Why is "the Tok" a thing? What is it coming to fix? What does it provide that we so desperately need in "ze vurld" so bad, that we need to commit mental sepuku to participate of it.
