I guess there’s no harm in writing a little PSA before heading to the city. I’m going to be on the road today for 7 hours, taking my brother back to Guayaquil to catch his plane. But that doesn’t mean I’ve lost track of our proposal’s deadline.

Since the last update, some awesome folks have joined in support. We’ve passed 32 million Hive Power, and might even break 33 million today. That said, the proposal goes live tonight, in about 11 hours. Which means we won’t be getting funded unless some big votes show up.

So here’s the ask: if you know dolphins, orcas, or even whales who might be able to support what we’re building, give them a little poke. I’ll admit I’ve never been great at marketing myself—been a flaw of mine forever—but at this point, that’s what it takes.

As I’ve explained before, even if we don’t get funded, we’re still moving forward. It’ll just slow us down. Turns out that for Apple to approve the app, we need to set up a backend for post reporting, to ensure no illegal content is being shared. We’ve already started building it, running locally for now, and I’m hopeful we’ll have good news on that front soon.

At any rate, I’m grateful to you all. I’ve noticed more noise picking up in Snaps lately, and I like to think our app has something to do with that. Honestly, that’s already a huge payoff for me, for us.

Anywho, my amigos—help us get this into the app store a little faster. Help us make some noise.
