It sounds contradictory, I know. But the idea here is that if I don't follow best practices, take my time, check, re-check, and then check again, there's a good chance I'm going to fumble the ball and have to repeat the work. Well, coding is the same thing. If you rush it, you will crash it. So this time around, I'm going a lot slower, and I like where this is going already.

Of course, my week learning how not to build this app is helping me here, but in two days I've got something that, in my opinion, looks pretty spiffy. Can I say that? Well, I'm saying it regardless.

I snapped a snap (can I say that?) about this snap app, and other snapers said to me: your snap app is cool, but it's not snapping right—too many buttons. So, I'm simplifying the thing even more.

The idea here is to focus on the social aspect above all and remove as much noise as possible. Yes, I know us Hiveans love to look under the hood (who voted for this?) but honestly, it shouldn't matter that much. If it's a good snap, vote for it. If it's not, move along.

Ten is fast approaching, so I might call it a day behind the keyboard. But I wanted to share this progress and ask you guys if you like the look so far. The new snap box looks obese (can I say that?), so I might change it tonight before sleep wins me over, or I might leave the task for the morning caffeine.
