Crazy or Convicted?
I'm not going to sit here and tell you that I don't have a bias. Of course I do. You can't invest eight plus years of your life into something and not have it become part of your identity. But I also don't think we are the crazy ones.
The truth is, I've looked. As a matter of fact, I keep looking. I wish I could report, and I would do it with glee, that I've found better things out there for me. Greener pastures, some would say. But that has not been the case. I either encounter disconnected systems that do not foster the building of a strong community, or projects that claim to solve everything and yet have little to no real applications to demonstrate those claims.
The interesting thing, or maybe the funny thing, is that many of these other alt coins have war chests. Funding of the kind that is hard to comprehend. Who is buying these tokens? I ask, knowing full well the answer will not make much sense to me in the end.
Gamblers. That is all I see.
If I had to sum it up in one word, that would be it. Gamblers. People buy tokens not because they solve a problem, not because they allow them to tap into a real resource. They buy them because it could pump. They hold them because lambo.
This psychological dynamic has been true since the first day I stepped into this world. Nothing is new. Nothing has really changed. I just hoped it would.
We are hovering near the all time lows right now. A number, mind you, I never thought in a thousand years we would see again. Not because we do not have problems, because we do. But because we have chips in the game too. We have utility. We have community. A stubborn one. And we have a relentless group of people who refuse to turn off the lights and keep building.
Sometimes I think I'm crazy. I really do. But there are times, like today, when I think maybe we are the rational ones.
I guess time will tell.

I don't have a big problem with this because I only have 2700 HP more or less and that goes from 250 to 180 dolars xD. And I never put any "real" money on it, only something small I earned in another web3 apps before.
Still, I would like things better here for everyone because I don't want to stay alone, writing my shit, need someone to read all that garbage. xD
