Chicago Fire filming in the streets of Chicago! [EN/PT-BR]

Last week I had a very cool experience. I saw the filming of the Chicago
Fire TV series in the streets of Chicago by accident.

I'm a big fan of the series, and I usually watch all 3 Chicago series (Chicago Med, Chicago Fire and Chicago PD) on tv every Wednesday night. As the name says, the series is about a fire station in Chicago. Every week they show a different story where Firehouse 51 is rescuing people from fires or accidents.

Last weekend I was in Chicago for an event, and even before getting to the hotel, I received a message from a friend that was already there saying that Chicago Fire was being filmed near the hotel. His intention was for me not to worry as it was not a real emergency.

When I got there I could understand why he sent me a message. They closed a big street and transformed it in a big movie set. From a distance it really looked like a real emergency, and you had to pay attention to it to see all the cameras and filming equipment. It was a massive thing that was there during my entire stay (3 days), they were filming every day. Later that day, after I arrived, I went out for lunch and decided to walk closer to check it out. There was broken roads, with multiple cars flipped over and obviously, lots of fire trucks. I don't know what exactly happened in the story, but the road looked like it was broken from an earthquake, but there are no earthquakes in Chicago. So I guess I will have to wait until January, when the new episodes will be aired, to see it. Unfortunately I didn't see the actors, they wouldn't allow us to get close during the filming, but I was able to get close after they were done for the day.

The day I left it was still there, and I can't even imagine the amount of work just to clean up that mess and open up the street again. Check out the pictures I took, and if you also watch the series, maybe you will see some of this in January as well.

(Edited)

I didn't see anything in the community talking about sizeable word count. I felt like this is probably what bothered you. I'm not like those authors that will write any shit just to fill a minimum word count, I think that this only makes the quality of a lot of posts go down, as the authors are trying add anything just to fill up the count. The right amount is whatever the author thinks.
You also probably did not read my post as this was not a review.

I couldn't figure it out too. I didn't get close enough. But the street was closed for traffic for many days, I was there for 3 days and it was already like that before I arrived, and they were still working there the day I left.
