Baby Politics: Who’s Crying Next 🤔
For those of us who value law, order, and the rule of the land, it’s easy to cheer what we’re seeing today. Troops rolling into cities to “control crime”? Feels satisfying. Someone losing their job over a comment about Charlie Kirk? Feels just.
But history—and modern cancel culture—has a way of humbling everyone. Today it’s a Republican, tomorrow it’s a Democrat. Today’s politics swing so far left or right, you’d think the idea of a “happy medium” went extinct with dial-up internet.
Those cheering outrage today? Odds are they’ll be the ones getting burned tomorrow. Just ask James Damore, fired from Google for challenging woke orthodoxy, or the countless others whose lives were shredded in the name of “accountability.”
Power and outrage? A revolving door. The party in control today sets the rules—but the next one rewrites them with the same ruthless flair. Remember the last four years of cancel culture and Woke mobs celebrating as they ruined careers and reputations for daring to disagree?
So enjoy your little victories—but don’t be shocked when some socialist Democrat takes the wheel and turns the same tactics on you… and me.
