The person whom I adore a lot celebrates her 40th birthday

Greetings to you my dear hivers, How are you all doing? I'll share the birthday surprise we gave my aunt with you in today's post.

Days before my aunt @Kellyane 's birthday, my oldest aunt contacted me to arrange a surprise for the 40-year-old. Regarding that, I found it difficult to surprise her because she has some detective skills and is responsible for planning nearly all of the family's birthday surprises.

In order to celebrate her birthday, we simply decided to have a mañanita. Days before, we started looking for singers. My parents are buying the flowers and I bought a balloon and wrote her a letter.

Everyone woke up at dawn to prepare. I was worried that she would not be surprised. I tiptoed on my way out since we share a room. Whenever I walked out of the room, she woke up as well because she was nearer the door and was more likely to be awakened by movement. And yes, she did awaken and wonder where I was because I didn't return. I thought, "Oh, she'll definitely figure out that we were doing something". Later, we began singing for her until she went into the living room, while others held candles. My mother gave her the bouquet.

We prepared snacks for the singers after the mañanita. Since it was a weekday, they decided to leave after talking for a while to get ready for work. She then admitted to not knowing what we were going to do, but that she knew we were doing something. She always uses her detective abilities, so it's difficult to surprise her.

I used to only admire my aunt for being so kind and caring to everyone in the family, but now that I've seen how she battled through her life, I also admire how tough and self-reliant she is. Since she stayed at our house for months, we frequently talked from night til dawn, or after our meal, it would take us so long to do the dishes or go to sleep because we were always engrossed in our life chats. This is how I learned more about her. Being the oldest in my family, I don't have anyone I can consider my eldest sister, but God gave me my aunt, with whom I am very close. We became much closer as I grew older than we were when I was a kid.

I have also been battling with my anxieties, and when that happens, she's always there to guide me and help me. She's always happy for what I have achieved in my life. She would help me explain to others the things I couldn't, she believes and supports me, she knows what I truly feel and what I truly want and pushes me to go for it. When I am not well, she will also wake up to talk to me so I can relax, or she will offer to give me a massage. I appreciate her a lot♡.

She is a confident woman who isn't afraid to take risks and wouldn't give up just because life is hard and tiring. I laughed with her, cried with her, and got mad with her. I never felt alone because she has always been there for me, even when we are apart. She never stops encouraging and supporting me.

We made plans together, she motivates me to do better, she believes that I can do better, and she has always been proud of everyone around her. How can you not love her? When all she does is support and care not just for her family but also for her friends. She sometimes comes off as a nag, but that's only because she cares and is one of the few people I know with a big heart.

My mom also bought her a cake to celebrate. I only wish better things for her, she has always been that person that everyone needs. She can be your counsellor, your tour guide, an advisor,a motivator, a mentor,a sister, and a best friend. Happy 40th, my aunt!
