Greetings friends of the vibes community, in this 34th week of the vives contest I share with you a cover of the song "ecos de amor" by Jasse & Joy.
It is not the first time that I share with you a cover of a song by this great duo, and this is due to my great admiration of the group not only for the lyrics of their songs, but also for the vocal traits that they demand.

The most noticeable feature is the warmth in Joy's timbre, which makes the song feel intimate and sincere. That warmth is coupled with a strong emotional charge that is conveyed in every phrase. You can feel the sense of longing, but also the latent hope.

But nevertheless, the feature of this song that challenged me to share this cover with you this week was the control of range and dynamics, as Joy demonstrates excellent control of vocal range, moving from soft whispers in the verses to more sustained and powerful notes in the chorus.
This controlled dynamic emphasises the emotional peaks of the song. It's not a voice that needs to demonstrate power loud and clear; the power lies in the subtlety.

This song also requires you to skillfully use a mixed register, which is a combination of chest voice and head voice, to give your voice a full, resonant sound in the mid-range.
