Hello my CineTv family. Welcome to another exciting week. I'm so excited about this week's prompt and the movie I'm about to review, its a movie that taught me a whole lot. If I'm not mistaken I think I've seen it up to 7 times and I have still not gotten enough or even tired of it.

A 2024 American action comedy film with top cast:

• Will Smith as Det. Lt. Mike Lowrey, Marcus' partner/best friend.

• Martin Lawrence as Det. Lt. Marcus Burnett, Mike's partner/best friend.

• Vanessa Hudgens as Kelly, a weapons expert.

• Alexander Ludwig as Dorn, a tech expert.

• Paola Núñez as Rita Secada, new Miami PD captain and Mike's ex-girlfriend, now dating Adam Lockwood.

• Eric Dane as James McGrath, a former U.S. Army Ranger Staff Sergeant.

• Loan Gruffudd as Adam Lockwood, a district attorney and Rita's romantic partner, seeking to become the next mayor of Miami.

• Jacob Scipio as Armando Aretas, Mike's son and former Cartel assassin.

• Rhea Seehorn as Judy Howard, a U.S. Marshal,

What stands out for me is the friendship between Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett. From the point where the movie starts till the very end their love for each other stands out. They are colleagues and friends who are on a mission to clear the name of their late mentor and Captain Howard after he is falsely accused of being with the cartel. They gather information and begin the mission but there are leaks hence the attacks they get and become wanted but they get an intel on who's behind the leaks and clears the name of their captain and ends up exposing and killing the people behind the cartel.

I loved a lot about this movie but like I said earlier what really stood out for me was the friendship between Mike and Marcus and it's even funny that their first names have same letters as initials. The fact there were always together and reasoned the same things almost at the same time but Marcus had a little bit of madness though 😂.

The movie influenced me a lot. It was just so relatable. The deep connection between those two, it was brotherly. The way they exchanged banters and the next minute they are together fighting their enemies. It made me see reasons why a friendship should be should be supportive. And I even noticed some changes from my friend after seeing the movie. It also taught me trust, the height of trust these people had for themselves was tremendous. No matter the leaks and dangers theu faced, they went through it together and didn't even for one day suspect each other. All they had on their minds was to take down the bad guys and clear the captains name.

The part I find interesting is the part where Marcus had a near death experience and is in a coma and when he wakes up the bond between him and Mike strengthens. He sees mike as a soulmate than a friend now and there were so strong together and couldn't be killed like that.

The scene that still pops in my head will be the scene at Marcus's house where his son in-law Reggie kills the cartel men that were sent there. He was underated by all but that was really an amazing one by Reggie.

Performance by the actor that left an impression will be the moment Mike has a panic attack on their last mission to rescue his wife christine and Judy Howard's daughter and Mike snaps him back in reality and makes him see reasons why je couldn't back out at that crucial point. Another performance that was striking would be when McGrath has Marcus and Christine together but Mike saves them, I actually took 3 seconds pause because that tension sent chills down my spine.

The movie was a great one. It showed the importance of having strong relationships and not only that, it showed the importance of being loyal.

Hola mi familia de CineTv. Bienvenidos a otra semana emocionante. Estoy muy emocionada con el tema de esta semana y la película que voy a reseñar, es una película que me ha enseñado mucho. Si no me equivoco creo que la he visto hasta 7 veces y todavía no me he cansado de ella.

Una película de acción y comedia americana de 2024 con un reparto de lujo:

• Will Smith como Det. Lt. Mike Lowrey, compañero/mejor amigo de Marcus.

• Martin Lawrence como Det. Lt. Marcus Burnett, compañero/mejor amigo de Mike.

• Vanessa Hudgens como Kelly, experta en armas.

• Alexander Ludwig como Dorn, un experto en tecnología.

• Paola Núñez como Rita Secada, nueva capitana de la policía de Miami y ex novia de Mike, que ahora sale con Adam Lockwood.

• Eric Dane como James McGrath, un antiguo sargento del ejército de EE.UU..

• Loan Gruffudd como Adam Lockwood, fiscal del distrito y pareja sentimental de Rita, que intenta convertirse en el próximo alcalde de Miami.

• Jacob Scipio como Armando Aretas, hijo de Mike y antiguo asesino del cártel.

• Rhea Seehorn como Judy Howard, una U.S. Marshal,

Lo que más destaca para mí es la amistad entre Mike Lowrey y Marcus Burnett. Desde el principio hasta el final de la película destaca el amor que se profesan. Son colegas y amigos que tienen la misión de limpiar el nombre de su difunto mentor, el capitán Howard, acusado falsamente de pertenecer al cártel. Reúnen información y comienzan la misión pero hay filtraciones de ahí los ataques que reciben y se convierten en buscados pero consiguen una información sobre quién está detrás de las filtraciones y limpia el nombre de su capitán y exponiendo y matando a la gente detrás del cartel.

Me encantaron muchas cosas de esta película pero como dije antes lo que más me llamó la atención fue la amistad entre Mike y Marcus y hasta es gracioso que sus nombres de pila tengan las mismas letras como iniciales. El hecho de que siempre estaban juntos y razonaban las mismas cosas casi al mismo tiempo pero Marcus tenía un poco de locura aunque 😂.

La película me influyó mucho. Era tan cercana. La profunda conexión entre esos dos, era fraternal. La forma en que intercambiaban bromas y al minuto siguiente estaban juntos luchando contra sus enemigos. Me hizo ver las razones por las que una amistad debe ser solidaria. E incluso noté algunos cambios en mi amigo después de ver la película. También me enseñó a confiar, el grado de confianza que se tenían estas personas era tremendo. No importaban las fugas y los peligros a los que se enfrentaran, los atravesaban juntos y ni siquiera sospechaban el uno del otro ni un solo día. Lo único que tenían en mente era acabar con los malos y limpiar el nombre del capitán.

La parte que encuentro interesante es la parte en la que Marcus tuvo una experiencia cercana a la muerte y está en coma y cuando despierta el vínculo entre él y Mike se fortalece. Ahora ve a Mike como un alma gemela y no como un amigo, eran tan fuertes juntos que no podían morir así.

La escena que todavia se me viene a la cabeza es la escena en la casa de Marcus donde su yerno Reggie mata a los hombres del cartel que fueron enviados alli. Todos le infravaloraban, pero Reggie hizo una escena increíble.

La actuación del actor que más me impresionó fue el momento en el que Mike tiene un ataque de pánico en su última misión para rescatar a su mujer Christine y a la hija de Judy Howard y Mike le devuelve a la realidad y le hace ver las razones por las que no podía echarse atrás en ese momento crucial. Otra actuación que fue impactante sería cuando McGrath tiene a Marcus y Christine juntos pero Mike los salva, de hecho hice una pausa de 3 segundos porque esa tensión me daba escalofríos.

La película fue estupenda. Mostró la importancia de tener relaciones fuertes y no solo eso, mostró la importancia de ser leal.
