When I saw the announcement for the color contest this week, the white photos that immediately came to mind were snow pictures. Maybe that is because it has been blazing hot all week and just thinking about snow makes the heat easier to bear.
Thank heavens for snowblowers!
. Sledding down the big hill is fast and fun, but pulling the sled back to the top is much slower.
The lake reflects the color of the sky and the white sailboat all but disappears.
This artwork of a partially submerged head of the peaceful Buddha is part of a Chicago art project called Ten Thousand Ripples. They were installed in 10 of the city’s violence-prone communities
The highly decorative Baháʼí House of Worship in Wilmette, Illinois is one of eight temples in North America.

Not so bad here.. Temps in the 80s but the smoke makes it appear cloudy even when the sun is out. Breathing again would be nice!
