Feel Good Autumn Days

Do you ever post into the Feel Good hive-190931 Community? It's a friendly space that hosts @untilwelearn 's Phone Photography Contest each week, but it is also a space for all the beautiful, the sweet, the joyful and the fun posts you create! The only rule is that you show us your creative, positive, enjoyable posts! And you may be rewarded occasionally with some Ecency Points!

For the first time this season there is snow in the weather forecast for this weekend. It sounds like it will be a wet, chilly, windy weekend and that means that the beauty of autumn will begin to disappear.

Eastern gray squirrel

These rodents are common in the woods and in cities, too. Known for its gray fur, bushy tail, these omnivores primarily eat nuts, seeds, and buds. They play a vital role in the ecosystem by burying and forgetting nuts, which helps with seed dispersal. I've had trees begin growing in flower pots and other odd places after squirrels have hidden a nut!

These photos were taken in Chicago in my kids neighborhood. There are already many leaves on the ground, but the weekend weather will cause more to fall from the trees. I'm enjoying the last of the beautiful autumn display.

These hydrangea blossoms are past their prime, but they will provide winter interest until we have a heavy snow fall and they are pushed to the ground and buried. The roses will continue blooming in the snow until we start getting much colder temperatures and then we will have to wait until they put out new growth in the spring before we see roses again.

Enjoy some of our last autumn colors with me!

That aspect of the squirrel hiding nuts in the ground and forgetting them God me smiling.
This posts sounds like the documentary I watch on zee world about animals.
I smiled all through.

Thanks a lot for sharing Ma'am.
There are so much to write here and so many interesting communities but time is the greatest challenge.

What do we do? I continue to stay alive and thrive inspite of it all.

I alao learnt that you are gradually saying bye bye to Autumn to welcome winter. That would be a serious preparation for house coats.
Do have a great weekend 🍂 😢 😔

It is snowing lightly tonight, and I suspect that when I wake up in the morning it will be hard to deny that winter is getting closer!

My daughter loves squirrels and usually has peanuts for them in her pocket. The neighborhood squirrels come running when they see her and are not shy about taking a peanut from her hand.

Woah, incredible.this will be a great sight to behold. Squirrels taking peanuts from her hands.
Your daughter must have been very bold and fearless to do such.
Some of us can't even go close to a hen let alone 😕 a Squirrel.
A big shout out to her.

Oh! These are exceptionally appealing, the flowers, the flower trees and the Squirrel which you have made me know hides nuts.Recently,my neighbor's child kept some Palm kernel nuts outside through the night and didn't see any the next day and asked if I collected them,I said no.I believe the Squirrels must have hidden them. Thanks and enjoy your weekend.

There is no need to doubt the squirrel's skill in style, a professional model taking a photoshoot in nature.

I believe he was only hoping I might have a bread crust to share, but he did stop long enough for a photo before he was off to do squirrel things!

Warm regards, @melinda010100. I have enjoyed this exquisite blend of beauty and colour that characterises autumn, captured by you. These are excellent photographs, any of which would undoubtedly make a beautiful postcard, thanks to their beauty and the emotions they convey. In my country, Venezuela, we don't have four seasons, only two periods (dry and rainy), but that's the magic of interacting on Hive, which allows us to travel and discover places we may never have the opportunity to visit. Thank you for sharing. Have a great weekend. Health and well-being !HUG !PIZZA

I feel privileged for the opportunity to travel around the world and learn about how people live in far away places.
I love living in a place with 4 distinctly different seasons and I'm glad I can share that here.

One of the things I love about autumn is the color of the plants, the leaves, the trees... I find it simply beautiful.

By the way, that squirrel posed for the photo! hahaha
Bright hugs!

Autumn is a beautiful time of year! But then I love all the seasons!

That squirrel was hoping I had some food to share. They often get handouts in the park.

Hey cool community I have not discovered yet! I love the phone photos and feel-good positive posts. Will check it out next!

We have a 70% chance of snow tomorrow but it is only supposed to be an inch or so. I am refusing to get the snowblower going and will just let it melt away because it is still fall!

It's snowing lightly right now. We will see what morning brings, but since it was quite warm yesterday I'm sure it will melt on the pavement. It is a warning of things to come, and I'm pretty certain you will find a use for that snowblower soon enough!
Hope to see you in the FeelGood Community!

Yes, I do post on the Feel Good Community if time permits. I wish I could do more someday. Because a super typhoon is lashing the country right now, I purchased data ahead anticipating a power outage. No power, no AC which means sleeping will be impossible and so noisy outside. I'm happy to see these lovely captures of yours now. Although leaves are falling and have fallen they look so alive and lively, and the super cute squirrels. Beautiful scenery you have there. Thank you very much for sharing. 🥰🍁🍂🍃
