This is a quick collection of photos to promote the FF SMaP Contest! Show us your common birds that you see in your backyard this time of year.
I can see these birds almost anytime I am outdoors.

Both Robins and Red-winged blackbirds are quite territorial this time of year. It's best to avoid areas where they have their nests. If you get too close they will divebomb you and their beaks are sharp, especially the blackbirds.

The birds fluff up their feathers to stay warm when it is cold outside. It does make them look cute

You can enjoy different kind of birds at your backyard. Here in Oman, we only see pigeons and occasionally some sparrows!

The daffodils are beginning to bloom and I'm seeing signs of spring! My favorite time of year. The orioles, grossbeaks and other migratory birds will begin returning in the next few weeks. All is well!
