PeakD Rolls out AI Bot

In case you missed it PeakD the number one used front end on Hive Blog has incorporated an Artificial Intelligence (AI) bot to it’s front end with a suite of different features that are both helpful and fun to readers across the platform.
Another core feature I noticed and really enjoyed was the translation feature something I think Hive will really benefit from given our growing global community. At times I feel like I miss out on great blog articles and posts from users as I am unable to read them in other languages.
The new PeakD AI Bot, currently covers the most used languages on Hive and I suspect the feature will continue to grow and expand into other languages as more updates are rolled out across the platform.
But for the meantime, let’s take a look at the current features enabled under the current AI Bot and what it delivers for Hive Users. You won’t be disappointed!

Located at the top of all the blogs is a little icon along side the text to speech function that states AI. IT provides a core list of features that the AI Bot can undertake for that blog which include:

**Feature 1. Recap Prompts: **Short Summary for PeakD, Quick Recap, Essential Details, Structured Outline, Comprehensive Summary, Bullet Point List

Feature 2. Creative Prompts: Children's Story Version, Science Fiction Interpretation, Poetic Reflection, Professional Rewrite, Fairy Tale Transformation, Film Trailer Script, Dialogue or Screenplay Format

Feature 3. Reader Actions: Reading Preparation, Author Interaction Guide, Interactive Quiz, Debate, Preparation

Feature 4. Analysis Prompts: Thematic Definitions, Critical Analysis, Historical Context

Feature 5. Translation: English Translation, Chinese Translation, Spanish Translation, French Translation, Portuguese Translation, German Translation, Tagalog Translation

Located on the top right hand corner of the PeakD article next to the listen which provides a text to talk feature is the AI drop down menu. If you haven’t utilised this feature than you are missing out. It has a suite of different features that enhance the user experience of Hive overall.

The features can also be quite fun and entertaining and I can already see a whole heap of different use cases that can be utilised to run a number of contests and engage the community a lot more.
Let’s take a look at a few of the core features.

Creative Prompts

By far one of my favourite additions is the Creative Prompts and if you haven’t already used it to turn @taskmaster4450le articles into great poetic features or even fairy tales you’re missing out! I have wasted quite a lot of my time today just playing with the bot making it turn a lot of peoples posts into fairy tales.

You won’t be disappointed by what it delivers, and it will bring a whole new world of Hive to you. The movie script stuff isn’t too bad and I think it is something we can see future Hive Content creators actually implementing in short form content.

Reader Actions A Game Changer

Reader Actions is one I can really get behind as we saw Leo Polls launched not too long ago. Now the Reader Actions feature enables users to turn posts into Quiz’s which can be easily turned into a Poll on Leo Finance. Perhaps another layer or addition to the bot could potentially streamline this process so it is instantly done.

Get Inside Your Readers Mind

This feature is an interesting one and attempts to get inside the mind of the author/journalist by providing an attempt of what they were thinking. It’s a little scary to be honest and I am not sure on the accuracy of the content it provides.

There is the additional option for criticism where the AI bot does attempt to provide additional points against the article and delivers some points that could be considered against the article. But ultimately, it is the readers decision what they decide on what is right and wrong.

Overall, the new AI feature is a heck of a lot of fun and I have already wasted a lot of time making fairy tales out of articles and movie trailers. I do find the summary section a good implementation which can support curators to get through more articles a day faster.

The Quiz feature is also a great way to easily run contests based on Leo Finance articles and I can see @onealfa utilising this feature to make Hive more engaging and enhance his contests on the blockchain.
