My 6th Birthday on Hive!

Six years ago I decided to take the plunge into crypto currency After many years of hearing about it on the news and through friends talking about Bitcoin with one friend a few years prior spending AUD2000 on Bitcoin at 30c and now becoming an absolute financial monster, I decided to embark on my own digital adventure.

Little did I know that it would shape my online presence and introduce me to a world of decentralised possibilities. My journey on the Hive blockchain which is a dynamic and innovative platform that has since become my virtual home for the past six years today being my 6th year on Hive, today I reflect on how great this has been from building networks to becoming a decentralised news reporter on InLeo.

My Early Days

I remember stumbling across the Hive blockchain which despite being in it’s early staged had a unique set of features and an engaged user base unlike anything in the sector and still today stands out for this reason. It captivated my attention from the start. The decentralized nature of the platform allowed me to interact with users from every corner of the globe and no annoying algorithm to just keep me geolocked and helped me forge new connections that transcended geographical boundaries.

One of the most stand out aspects of my time on the Hive blockchain has been the opportunity to build networks and friendships with a broad range of people from around the world.
