Exciting news today as Ferrari shifts gears with crypto auction announcing it will auction off one of it's most successful cars what has won 3 back to back Le Mans titles through it's exclusive platform that bridges Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cryptocurrency, Hyperclub.

What Is Hyperclub?

Hyperclub was launched in 2023 consisting of global verified owners, collectors and elite dealerships globally to buy, sell and showcase the most globally exclusive hypercars on the planet. They currently have four locations listed in Toronto Canada, Miami, USA, Dubai, Unied Arab Emirates and Tehran, Iran.

It is reported to hold 100 of the worlds top clients where money isn't a barrier or an object and have an interest in the best of four wheels this world has to offer. Ferrari is pitching the auction to the top 100 car collectors on the planet and it will do so via a Crypto Auction.

With the auction tipped to take place in 2027, Ferrari has developed a new specialised token for the auction called Token Ferrari 499P. The purpose is to allow exclusive access to the auction and has been created in conjunction with Italian fintech company, Conio.

The upcoming token developed for the event won't just be for the bidding of the 499P with other uses also incorporated such as being a tradable asset amongst members and to bid on the auction. The token is anticipated to remain active and ongoingly used within the service.

The Auction will debut at the launch of the 2027 World Endurance Championship Season merging Ferrari's past with the future of decentralised finance (De-Fi) and moving into a more modern world.

This isn't Ferrari's first move into cryptocurrencies with the company allowing purchases of their cars with Bitcoin and Ethereum as well as USDC in 2023 that has seen Crypto millionaires access luxury cars as well as luxury homes in other nations.
