¿Terminaste? Pues yo me siento / Are you done? Well, I'm sitting down.

Hace unos días mi papá decidió preparar el almuerzo para todos.

Mientras él terminaba de cocinar, los demás estuvimos arreglando la mesa, poniendo los platos, cubiertos, vasos… Para que así todo quedara listo al momento de que la comida ya estuviera y todos pudiéramos disfrutar del almuerzo.

Pero, no éramos los únicos que esperábamos por el almuerzo. Al sentarnos, un pequeño "ejército peludo" estuvo paseando bajo la mesa: mi gatita (mitinga) y tres perritos 🐶🐱

El momento clave de esta historia llegó cuando uno de mis hermanos terminó de comer y se levantó de la mesa.

En un abrir y cerrar de ojos, mi gata aprovechó el puesto desocupado jajaja.

Mientras los demás estábamos distraídos termiando de comer, ella simplemente se sentó en la silla vacía como si fuera algo que siempre hace, pero, en realidad, era la primera vez que pasaba.

Y ahí se quedó, sentadita como una reina. No hizo ruido ni pidió con maullidos como suele hacer. Su presencia en la silla era su especie de reclamo silencioso para que le dieramos su parte de la comida.

Y claro, después de que nosotros terminamos nuestro almuerzo, ¿cómo no compartir con la señora peluda que consiguió su lugar en la mesa? 😄💕

A few days ago, my dad decided to make lunch for everyone.
While he finished cooking, the rest of us set the table, putting out the plates, cutlery, glasses... So that everything would be ready when the food was done and we could all enjoy lunch.
But we weren't the only ones waiting for lunch. As we sat down, a small “furry army” was walking under the table: my kitten (Mitinga) and three dogs 🐶🐱
The key moment in this story came when one of my brothers finished eating and got up from the table.
In the blink of an eye, my cat took advantage of the vacant seat hahaha.
While the rest of us were distracted finishing our meal, she simply sat down in the empty chair as if it were something she always does, but in reality, it was the first time it had ever happened.
And there she stayed, sitting like a queen. She didn't make a sound, she didn't meow for attention... Her presence on the chair was her silent way of asking us to give her her share of the food.
And of course, after we finished our lunch, how could we not share with the furry lady who had earned her place at the table? 😄💕
