Hello dear community,

I harvested two zucchini from my garden again.

But unfortunately, I had to throw them away :(

The large one was extremely bitter and the small one was a little bitter too. So they were not suitable for consumption, as they are poisonous.

I'm really sad because I have beautiful zucchini that are ready to be harvested this year, but they're inedible :(

The hot weather over the weekend was probably to blame, and I actually wanted to harvest the big one beforehand, but I didn't get around to it. I thought it could grow for another 1-2 days until we used it for food.

Shit happens.

habe wieder zwei Zucchini geerntet in meinem Garten.

Aber ich musste diese auch leider weg schmeißen :(

Die große war extrem Bitter und die kleine auch ein wenig. Also nicht zum Verzehr geeignet, da diese dann ja giftig sind.

Bin echt traurig, da habe ich dieses Jahr schöne Zucchini die ernteteif sein und dann sind diese aber ungenießbar :(

Das heiße Wetter am Wochenende war wohl dran schuld und ich wollte die große zumindest eigentlich schon vorher geerntet haben, aber hatte es dann doch nicht gemacht. Dachte 1-2 Tage kann Sie noch wachsen bis wir Sie dann fürs Essen nutzen.
