I have a few zucchini plants again this year. Two plants are already quite large, the others are still quite small, but they are growing slowly and it will still be some time before there are any zucchini. However, the first flowers are already growing. But they are male, so without fruit.

This year, I'm trying a trick that I saw or read somewhere. I can't remember exactly whether I saw or read it.
It's supposed to make the plants bear more fruit. I'll see if it works.

I'm not going to reveal what the trick is until the end of the challenge. And then I'll tell you if I think it worked. I'm going to use it on all my plants.

Above you can see how beautifully my tomatoes have grown. Unfortunately, I forgot to put holes in one of the buckets, so the rainwater didn't drain away and the leaves are already yellowish. I've fixed it and hope that the plant at the bottom left of the picture will recover.

My strawberries are also growing nicely again, even though I hadn't expected them to because I hardly watered them at the beginning of the year.

But then I started watering them at some point and the plants are thriving again after I had almost written them off. I also filled the flower boxes with some soil.

The pepper plants are also growing nicely, some of them are normal peppers and some are bullhorn peppers/pointed peppers.

Unfortunately, my chili peppers are still very puny. I hope they'll grow, but unfortunately, my father's don't look much better this year :( I wanted to make chili oil again and finally try chili salt.

I also planted cucumbers again, these are the smaller ones that I replanted, because out of the 9 plants I had grown, only one turned out well. Or rather, out of 9 seeds, only one grew.

My lettuce is literally exploding, I'm already giving some away, but there's still more and more. I'll probably start harvesting the first ones soon, otherwise they'll start to sprout and then they won't taste as good. I'll have to see what I plant after that.

Nothing to eat, but a beautiful flower. I didn't expect the calla lily to flower. The leaves had already grown to over half a meter high and had to be leaned against the window so they wouldn't bend over.

Maybe you can guess how tall it grew from the picture. Almost as tall as the window, and I think the windows are about 80 cm high.

auch dieses Jahr gibt es bei mir ein paar Zucchinipflanzen. Da die Zucchini zur Gattung der Kürbisse gehört, nehme ich damit an der Kürbis-Welttmeisterschaft von @hive-world-champ hier auf Hive teil.

Zwei Pflanzen sind schon recht groß, die anderen noch ziemlich klein, aber das wird langsam und es dauert eh noch einige Zeit, bis es da Zucchini geben wird. Dabei wachsen aber schon die ersten Blüten. Aber es sind männliche, also ohne die Frucht.

Dieses Jahr versuche ich auch mal einen Trick, den ich irgendwo gesehen oder gelesen hatte. Weiß gar nicht mehr genau, ob ich es gesehen oder gelesen hatte.
Dadurch sollen die Pflanzen mehr Früchte tragen. Ob es stimmt, werde ich sehen.

Welcher Trick das ist verrate ich nicht, erst am Ende der Challenge. Und dann sage ich euch auch, ob ich meine das es was gebracht hat. Werde es bei allen meinen Pflanzen anwenden.

Oben seht ihr wie schön meine Tomaten gewachsen sind, leider hatte ich bei dem einen Eimer vergessen, diesen mit Löchern zu versehen, daher ist das Wasser vom Regen nicht abgeflossen und die Blätter sind schon gelblich. Habe es nachgeholt und hoffe, dass die Pflanze links unten auf dem Bild sich erholt.

Meine Erdbeeren sind auch wieder schön am Wachsen, obwohl ich damit nicht mehr gerechnet hatte, weil ich diese kaum gegossen hatte am Anfang des Jahres.

Habe dann aber damit irgendwann begonnen und die Pflanzen sind wieder am Gedeihen, nachdem ich sie fast schon abgeschrieben hatte. Zudem hatte ich auch in die Blumenkästen einiges an Erde aufgefüllt.

Die Paprikapflanzen sind ebenfalls schön am Wachsen, dabei sind es teils normale Paprika und Bullhornpaprika / Spitzpaprika.

Leider sind meine Peperoni noch sehr mickrig, hoffe, das wird noch was, leider sehen die bei meinem Vater wohl auch nicht viel besser aus dieses Jahr :( Mensch wollte wieder Peperoni-Öl machen und auch endlich mal das Peperoni-Salz.

Auch Salatgurken habe ich wieder angepflanzt, dies sind die kleineren, die ich nachgepflanzt hatte, denn aus 9 Pflanzen, die ich vorgezogen hatte, ist nur eine was geworden. Besser gesagt, aus 9 Samen ist nur eine gewachsen.

Mein Salat explodiert regelrecht, bin schon am Verschenken, aber dennoch wirds immer mehr. Werde aber bald wohl anfangen die ersten Komplett zu ernten, da die sonst anfangen zu sprießen und dann schmecken diese ja nicht mehr so. Muss schauen, was ich dann danach einpflanze.

Nichts zum Essen, aber eine schöne Blume. Habe nicht mehr damit gerechnet, dass die Cala auch eine Blüte tragen wird. Die Blätter waren bereits über einen 1/2 Meter hoch gewachsen und mussten schon ans Fenster gelehnt werden, damit diese nicht umknicken.

Vielleicht könnt ihr anhand des Bildes es erahnen, wie hoch diese gewachsen ist. Fast so hoch wie das Fenster und ich glaube das die Fenster so 80 cm hoch sind.
