Here you can clearly see that we had received significantly more for a Bitcoin in January than we do today. What does that mean?

Quite simply, the dollar is much weaker, worth less than it was just under five months ago. And we all know that the euro is also weaker; we notice that when we go shopping, we get less for it.

In short, price and value are not the same thing, even if we often equate it.

You probably know the phrase: Is it worth this price?

I find that the price does not reflect the current value of the BTC for a long time.

Je nach Börse hat der BTC einen anderen ATH.

Und dann liegt der ATH auch noch davon ab, wer ihn wie betrachtet.

Und zudem muss man verstehen, was das ATH überhaupt aussagt.

Ich gebe @der-prophet da einmal Recht und einmal muss ich widersprechen. Richtig ist, dass der Bitcoin in Dollar ein Allzeithoch erreicht hat, das heißt, zuvor hatte man nicht so viele Dollar für einen Bitcoin erhalten.

Aber es stimmt nicht, dass der Bitcoin noch nie so wertvoll war. Der eine oder andere wird sich nun fragen, wieso nicht?

Die Frage ist am einfachsten mit dem Euro-Chart erklärt:

Hier kann man deutlich erkennen, dass wir für einen Bitcoin im Januar deutlich mehr erhalten hatten als heute. Was bedeutet das?

Ganz einfach, der Dollar ist deutlich schwächer, weniger wert als vor knapp fünf Monaten. Und wir wissen alle, dass auch der Euro schwächer ist; das merken wir, wenn wir einkaufen gehen, wir bekommen weniger dafür.

Kurz gesagt: Preis und Wert sind nicht dasselbe, auch wenn wir es oft gleichsetzen.

Ihr kennt sicherlich den Satz: Ist es diesen Preis wert?

Ich finde, dass der Preis lange nicht den aktuellen Wert der BTC wiedergibt.
