Journeying Through The Endless Possibilities In Hive Blockchain Despite Odds

Good day everyone, Hive is a very interesting place filled with intellectually sound individuals but then, just like the real world, nothing comes easy if it does then it might probably not be the best. The journey through this space has not been an easy one especially as a newbie like myself.

In as much as one is talented in writing, this hive space tends to reshape the way you see blogging especially micro-blogging to be. Just permit me to share my little journey here with you all.

In my quest for a space to blog as well as earning some tokens for my contents,I came across Hive on the 3rd of May, 2023, I began posting aimlessly, I never had a coach or someone to look forward to, since I came with the intention of "make money quick" mentality, I couldn't keep to it after publishing about 3 posts and none were being voted for, I was discouraged and then I decided to leave this space almost to abandon the account.

Let's fast forward to December, 2023, I had to resume again, by this time, I had made more research about this Blockchain and was ready to face whatever will happen and however things will turn out to be, I will gladly take it with good fate. I met one of the Hivers here who happens to be an Akwa Ibomite just like I am, I private chatted her and she mentioned a whopping #30,000 naira which is about 73.3 hive, I couldn't pay for it, so I had to determine to just fail and try myself.

I kept making post and getting low votes till today compared to others but the fun of this whole thing is, I am just so satisfied doing what I love doing (writing), I might be miles away from perfection, but then this alone makes me feel more relieved from my stressful and hectic day, I have channeled my mind away from the "earning aspect" and all I want to do now is to keep enjoying my articles.

Also, people over here tend to be so supportive despite all the blunders made in the posts. They keep coming out in numbers to give their own vote and drop their comment, this support keeps me going all through which I can't even appreciate them enough. I still remember the first comment I had, I was more happy than getting a vote and the momentum has been on for weeks now.

Moreso, Hive has taught me persistency, a normal won't even bother blogging here anymore as long as my expectations are not met but then, I find it fun over here that even the earning part dosent really count again. All I just want is to remain consistent and I know at the end my effort will yield.

So, if you are a newbie like me, be sure not to allow these little odds weigh you down, look far beyond the little barriers now and focus more on building good relationships with people, this will be worthwhile, somehow you can even land a relationship here that might change a part of your life if not entirely. Be consistent, wakeup everyday and source for good contents to share, at the very end, you will reap the result more than the way you expected it.
