Hello open mic community members and participants.I am so glad to be here,to join you at the hive open mic week #211.This is my first time here.I am @megamo and I have been looking forward to this opportunity with so much zest.
I appreciate the creativity,originality that the hive open mic gives and share as a community. I trust God for a wonderful and life changing experience here, through the power of gospel music.
I was anxious at first, but I realized this community is a place where you can grow and develop your talent.
Becoming better in music is the goal here.Thanks to@mamab for choosing this beautiful theme for us' breathe'. When I saw the week's theme 'breathe ' it reminded me of the power of the holy spirit, that came upon the apostles in Acts1:8,
"but ye shall receive power, after that holy ghost is come upon you,and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and in the samaria and unto the uttermost part of the earth"
Acts2:1-3 Paraphrased And when the day of pentecost was fully come, a mighty rush wind came and there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as a "fire "and it sat upon each of them"
I was moved to the awakening of the fire of the holy spirit to do an original titled "pour out your fire ".
When the fire of the holy spirit breathes upon a man, it gives him boldness, courage to stand in the face of adversity. The spirit of fear leaves such an individual he/she is able to declare the works of the Lord with boldness.Peter one of the apostles in the Bible was filled with so much fear but when the fire of the holy spirit breathed on him, he added three thousand souls to the kingdom.
