My savings plan
Savings are crucial. I believe a lot of persons will agree with me. Life is filled with unforeseen circumstances. You could make plans for your life and something sudden and unexpected would just happen and derail your plans.
Problems, responsibilities or needs could pop up from nowhere. This is why savings are important. Savings would help you sort out these urgent things that arise.
The very nature of money is such that we tend to spend it. Sometimes, people spend without considering the future. People tend to forget that there could be times when money would be easily available.
I decided to make a habit of saving. I know for a fact that being disciplined enough to save for a period of time can be difficult. I made several plans. I intend to reserve some hbd every week. This seems like a really good plan. The great part is that saving HBD on hive compounds because you earn APR on it.
Another way I intend to save is through my bank. There's a setup in my bank app which locks up a certain amount every week.
I believe through these methods I can be able to save properly. This year, I don't have a specific amount as my savings target, but I do hope it crosses a 100 USD at least.
This savings can help me achieve a lot by the end of the year. I could start a business, I could pay for bills that would come up. There are so many possibilities.
In a way, it feels good knowing you have some money somewhere that you can always fall back on if things go south. I know that it can be very difficult to save sometimes, especially when finances are tight. There could be that urge to take the money out prematurely. However, I am determined to push through.
Another form of savings I intend to do is investments. I want to invest in things that would grow and multiply my money with time. I have been exploring options and I'm hoping to find something worth investing my money in. This way, my money won't just be sitting idle, it would earn me more money.
