How i revamped my old dress into something stylish and new.

I want to believe, we all have that one dress that will find it hard to let go of, despite the fact that we know, we've outgrown it, in my case, this dress is something like that to me. If I'm not estimating wrongly, the last time I wore this dress was four years ago and it was for a first Sunday service of the year and ever since then, it had been lying freely in my luggage, without any use of it, but yesterday the jinx it had been using on me expired.

I knew my current body size wouldn't fit in the dress anymore and the length of the gown had gone shorten (It was a long gown) but all these didn't stop me because, I was inspired to make something new out of it. Although, the unavailability of sewing machine almost banished the idea out of my head but I remembered the old classic way- thread and needle, those were available, those are affordable.

Materials used

• Needle
• Thread
• Scissor
• Pen(for marking)

The processes of the making.

Step 1 : First of, I started by cutting the gown to my desirable short gown length.

Step 2 : Used the cut part for the sleeve.

Step 3 : Used the before sleeve for the facing of the new sleeve.

Step 4 : I needed a companion because I knee it was gonna be a long journey.

Step 5 : Hemmed the downward part of the gown.

Step 6 : Lastly, attached both sleeves to the dress.

Tadaaaa!here comes the final results.
