Oecophylla smaragdina.
The beauty of nature is not limited to big trees or colorful bird Even a small animal contains the story of a vast world within itself At one such moment I suddenly saw some red ants walking on a tree It seemed that they were busy with their own silent journey I had a mobile camera at hand and I immediately captured those moments The ants seen in the picture are usually called red ants or Red Weaver Ants The scientific name is Oecophylla smaragdina They are a very familiar species in our subcontinent Their small body sharp jaws and reddish-brown skin color blend in very beautifully with nature Their movement discipline and teamwork are truly extraordinary Just looking at the picture you can understand that the ants are walking continuously along the bark of the tree Some are moving forward some are stopping and communicating with other ants Their discipline and coordination can also teach us adults to work as a team help each other and be persistent in their goals.
Red ants are especially known for their weaving skills They make nests by stitching leaves together like sewing using silk a sap secreted by young ants This is nature's amazing weaving art Red ants usually live in trees and build webs or nests in leaves They hunt and eat insects thus acting as beneficial friends for farmers They are sometimes used in orchards as natural pesticides Their cooperative attitude and hard work make them seem like small but hardworking soldiers of nature Not alone but in groups they build their own homes collect food and form a society even in adverse conditions The bark of the tree in the background of the picture and the blurry environment behind it completely focus on the journey of this ant In the picture an ant is slightly ahead of its companions as if it is a guide In the picture an ant looks ahead as if it is alert to the danger ahead.
These scenes are not just like watching insects but remind us of many important aspects of life responsibility caution teamwork and the attitude of working indiscriminately Standing today when we lose ourselves in technology and great achievements this little ant shows us what real perseverance is They do not talk do not sing but tell stories through work When we were young many of us used to play with ants or trample them under our feet out of negligence But when we look at nature with a little attention these tiny creatures become nature's wonderful works of art Those moments in the photo gave me not just the experience of seeing an insect but a complete vision that the beauty of life lies in smallness silence and utter devotion.
