Brachythemis contaminata.

Yesterday afternoon when I went out to spend some time in nature I came across an extraordinary sight Sitting on a leaf was a beautiful insect a dragonfly which many people call in Bengali I captured a few moments of it on my camera with my phone Today's blog is about that experience and the beauty of photography The one seen in the picture is an Amber winged Dragonfly scientific name Brachythemis contaminata It is easily seen in our country during the monsoon and summer Its body color is light brown or amber and although its wings are transparent there is a brown tint in the middle which makes it even more beautiful The beauty of this insect can first be understood in its perfect structure and color While sitting on a leaf its four wings sparkle and spread a colorful light in the sun Its two big eyes are round and shiny like a living gem of nature The wings are very delicate and transparent on which the sunlight falls creating a charming scene.

Its long back creates a kind of rhythmic shape with the lines of the leaves On the one hand the beauty of the grasshopper enhances the beauty of nature on the other hand it is a silent observer which even sitting alone is one with the life around it When I took these pictures the dragonfly was sitting silently on the leaf There was a gentle breeze on all sides and behind it was the shadow of the trees on the banks of a small canal or pond At that moment looking through the camera lens I felt like I was entering nature I got the opportunity to see every line every shade of color of the dragonfly very closely The greatest joy of photography was sharing time with the insect Since I did not move much I was able to take pictures from several angles Each of them captured a different beauty In one picture its eyes are more clear in another the design of the wings is clearly visible.

Many people do not know how beneficial this small insect is for the environment Dragonflies eat mosquitoes and other harmful insects so they act as natural pesticides In addition they also play an important role in maintaining the balance of biodiversity This dragonfly is not just an insect it is a symbol of the beauty of nature Protecting it means protecting nature If we give importance to every small creature the world will become more beautiful and more balanced Taking this photo yesterday was a special experience for me How much beauty how much perfection is hidden inside a small insect like a dragonfly you cannot believe it without seeing it with your own eyes Natural beauty is not only big mountains or rivers even an insect sitting on a leaf contains the rhythm life and tranquility of nature.
