An Auto technician joins Hive - I am Chika

I am so happy to introduce myself to the friends on this platform and I am convinced that based on what I have heard, I will mostly welcomed by all of you.

Background and origin

My name is Chika Sunny Nmeregini. I'm a twin and the third child in a family of five. Sadly we lost two of our brothers in the same year January 2012 and March 2012. Our last born died at the age of 24 while the other one died at the age of 27. It was not easy for the entire family to bear the lost of the two son the same year. For the first time I saw my father cried bitterly. Some broken heart never mend according to Don Williams. I was born on the 10th of May 1983. While I was young, I was loved by people around me just because we were twins.

I started my educational life as a kid in Nursery school in the year 1989 at Courage Nursery school. I had my primary school leaving testimonial for elementary six on the 20th of October 1995. I was posted to Wilcox memorial secondary school Ogbo Hill Aba Abia State. But my parents refused that I will not school there. They transfered me to Ahiaba High School. But because of financial issues I didn't write junior WAEC. That was in the year 1997. Not only that, they stopped my school and I stayed THREE years at home doing nothing. I refuse to learn anything that time, even people were coming to take me but I refused that I must go back to school. Then after I had wested three years they now sent me back to school to start from JSS2 in the year 2000 while my class mates were graduating in the same year 2000. I humbly accepted it and graduated in the year 2005. I started working with SOLAJ Engineering service as a civil engineer at V-Mobile Telecoms cell site build. Our head office is located @ No 681, Rumuokoro junction ikwere road, Port harcourt, Rivers State. We traveled to many States in Nigeria.
I was hoping to rise money to further my education, but when all hope to further my education was gone, I signed a four years contract with a certain man in Aba to become his apprentice as an Auto Electrician. I became the CEO of Chisco Auto Electric after four years of my experience as an apprentice in the year January 30, 2011.

I am a native of Ihieorji in Alaoma. Alaoma is one of the most outstanding Communities in Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State. Abia State is one of the State in the eastern part of Nigeria and the capital is Umuahia. Abia is known as God's own State and this nickname is born out the Abian's believe that the name is found in the Bible.

My Career

Like I said I am the CEO of Chisco Auto Electric, located at No3 Ochendo Road Ogbo Hill Aba Abia State. I repairs all kinds of car.
In Aba we have two places where you can buy all kinds of motor spare parts both new one and Belgium. The first place is School Road by Asa and the second place is Ala-Ojii by flyover along port Harcourt Express way. Any motor parts you didn't get there, forget about the motor.

One day I went to work and I noticed that my work shop has been broken by heartless criminals. They carried all my tools and other equipment that were very important to me. Infact, I lost almost everything.
After replacing them, they came again and again that I have to relocate. Though it was not easy for me because I lost many of my customers. As a family man, I must provide for my family. I joined transportation business as one of the lucrative business in Aba and I am still in the business till now.

About My City

The city of Abia is Aba. Aba is also known as Enyimba City and the Japan of Africa.

We have famous market in Aba, such as cemetery market, Ariara international market, Goodmorning market, Umuehilegbu industrial shoe market, New market, Eke-Oha shopping center and other markets in Aba.
Aba people are hard working people and ever ready to do any legit business to earn a living. Infact, among the fastest growing industries in Aba includes the Garment fashion industry, hospitality industry and Transportation industry. And people troop into Aba on daily basis from different corners of the world to do business in Aba.

Raising My Own Family

It was in the same Aba that I met my lovely wife. A beautiful lady from Umudioka, Dunukofia Local Government Area in Anambra State. She got her Auxiliary Nursing Certificate and Testimonial at St Anthony's Hospital Aba Abia State, in the year 2008 with good Academic ability. We legally married on November 8, 2014.

Now I am a father of three children. Two boys and one girl. The name of my first son is Godswill Obughikem Chika. The name of my second son is Godstime Anaghogbuchi Chika. The name of my daughter is Godslove Abuoma Chika. My first child was born on November 28, 2018. After four years of marriage. My second child was born on October 6, 2020. My last child was born on September 11, 2023. With God's help, we have survived almost 10 years in marriage. And the secret of our family happiness is love and respect.

Hobby and Interest

I love reading and writing and this have helped me to keep improving myself despite my limited education.

I love playing football as I love watching comedy films. I joined ultimate football academy during my secondary school time, but I hate losing a match. Comedy is another thing that gives me joy. Infact, my interest in making people around me happy is high as I started doing comedy. Honestly, I derive joy in putting smile on people's face as Mc.
