Le pido permiso, no perdón,
por hacer realidad, con palabras,
mis abstractos sentimientos;
ocultos, hasta este mismo instante,
en las difusas sombras de un camino incierto.

Pido permiso, señora,
al excelso encanto de sus ojos
cuando mira los lirios
brotando entre sus dedos.
No es pecado, por cierto,
penetrar en la orquídea abierta,
a plenitud,
en el valle intramontano de su cuerpo.

Tampoco es pecado besar esos lirios
acariciados por sus dedos,
porque así, sin querer,
o queriendo,
beso sus ojos oscuros,
profundos como el Universo.

Puede acusarme, señora,
sin miedo o remordimientos,
de ser anticuado por llevar
los estigmas de un romántico envejecido,
o quizás obsoleto,
que se quita el sombrero
ante el donaire de sus pasos,
cuando camina en la vereda
de mis sueños.

para robar un poco de su dicha
en las mañanas;
y en las tardes y las noches,
el mejor de los vinos
en su cáliz de nácar.
