Hello, friends!

‎Throwback time! ☺️

‎I was scrolling through my Google Photos when a particular album caught my eye.

‎It was the photos from the day after our wedding when we were opening gifts.

We had gotten married during the pandemic in 2020, and back then, financially, it was not easy.

‎So we didn't expect much in the way of gifts.

‎But surprisingly, despite the hardships, our friends and families were so generous.

‎They surprised us in the most heartwarming ways.

‎The gifts wrapped in colorful paper and ribbons, were more than just material things.

They were tokens of love and support.

And what truly melted my heart, was the personal messages in the cards accompanying the gifts. 🥺

Actually, during that time, I remember how much I preferred cash gifts.

‎We had mentioned it clearly on our wedding invitations.

‎Cash felt like the most practical and appreciated gift, something we could use for our future plans.

‎But what I didn't expect, though, was how receiving material gifts would leave a sweet impact on us.

It wasn't just the gift itself, but the love and time they put into choosing something for us.

‎That moment made me realize how giving gifts at a wedding can be much more meaningful whatever the gift may be.

‎If it comes from the heart and is given wholeheartedly, that will reflect.

‎So yeah, it showed me that the true gift is the thought and effort behind it.

‎I really feel the beauty of gift-giving.

‎How the love behind the gesture can be appreciated.

‎So next time you attend a wedding, consider buying a gift.

‎It doesn't have to be expensive.

‎What matters is the effort and love behind it. 😉

‎Until my next experience...

Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸

Wow,, so generous nman..
Since I was a kid, I rarely receive gifts, and so, I don't fully understand the value of giving.. that's why, hindi talaga ako nagbibigay ng gifts..
But when I grew older,, noong nagkatrabaho na, meet friends na pala bigay,, I started to appreciate and started to give back,, there I realized na sarap pala sa pakiramdam and magbigay at mabigyan..
Kaya I'm really thankful to those na appreciative sa kahit na maliit na bigay, And I also appreciate ang mga nagbibigay kahit gaano pa kaliit..

So yeah, it showed me that the true gift is the thought and effort behind it.

❤️❤️❤️

Yeah diba? It's give and take lang talaga. And you'll really feel the happiness it brings. Buti nalang ganun yung environment mo paglaki. And I can feel how you value people by giving something to them, even how small it is. 🥰

How wonderful it was to read how, in the midst of the pandemic, you received gifts despite, as you rightly mention, the economic hardships we're all experiencing around the world, in addition to those beautiful messages written for you. That speaks volumes about the people around you and the affection you, as a couple, show toward one another. Many congratulations on these years of dedication and love for each other, and I wish you much success on this path you've decided to take 🙌😀💛... Greetings and blessings to you 🙏❤️... You Rockkk!!! 👍😎🔥📸❤️

Hi @fernanblog. 🥰 It's my first time meeting you, and you left a wonderful comment regarding my post. Thanks for appreciating it, and yeah. They're too sweet to do such generous acts. Don't know what we did to deserve those, but we actually felt the love and care from them.
