‎Weekends aren't always relaxing — sometimes they're stressful.

‎Yep, that's exactly what happened last week.

‎It was when we decided to have an afternoon snack before heading off to our next plans.

‎I was with my sister and our friend, Jaye Vann.

‎We went to a little cozy café at the park to grab a quick coffee drink and some takoyaki.

‎The barista quickly prepared our orders.

‎She handed us our drinks.

As my sister was sipping her own coffee, her face instantly turned into a funny expression.

‎Her coffee was as bland as water with just a hint of Milo.

‎We couldn't help but laugh at how unappetizing it looked, but we appreciated the barista's effort to make it fast.

‎I told my sister to ask about it, if the barista forgets to put sugar or maybe it's just like that.

‎She followed my suggestion, mentioning to the barista that her coffee might be missing some sugar.

‎A little while later, the barista blended in more sugar and flavoring, making sure to adjust it perfectly.

‎When she handed the coffee back to my sister, it had a rich and delicious flavor that my sister definitely loved.

‎She's now satisfied.

Meanwhile, the takoyaki was taking a bit longer to prepare.

‎Almost eating up our limited time.

‎As you can see, we're almost done with our coffee drinks.

‎Just as we were finishing up, the takoyaki we ordered arrived.

But there was a bit of a situation.

‎The staff seemed to have forgotten what flavor of takoyaki we'd ordered, so they just guessed and prepared them randomly.

‎Plus, they'd forgotten to add the dried bonito flakes.

‎So we'd specifically ask for it.

Despite all that, the takoyaki ended up being pretty delicious.

‎The problem was that it took forever to prepare, like, way too slow.

‎This experience for the takoyaki and the coffee drink was kinda stressful, thinking not to eat there again.

‎Yet, if we found the silver lining, the takoyaki ended up tasting good anyway.

‎We sipped that coffee, ate the takoyaki, and saw the bright side of those imperfect moments.

‎'Coz that's what makes life interesting, doesn't it?

‎How about you? Does your weekend go as planned?

‎Until my next weekend vibe...

‎Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸

You sure had a beautiful weekend with your loved ones.

I also don't appreciate not getting things I ordered for on time but it's good that your meals were delicious despite the delay.

Thank you for sharing.

Yeah. But that's the last time we will eat there. Although it's delicious, we can order from other shops selling takoyaki without waiting that long. 🥴 Thanks for dropping by. 🫶
