Our Refreshing Snack: Enjoying The Halo-halo Together With My Son And Hubby

‎Today I'll be sharing our refreshing snack.

‎Because of the heat today, we decided to cool off with a halo-halo.

This is a popular dessert here in the Philippines, perfect for hot weather.
‎
‎It is a mix of sweetened beans, fruits, jellies, and shaved ice topped with leche flan or sometimes ice cream.
‎
‎We eat at the nearby eatery in the park.
‎
‎I was with my hubby and our son, Ryzen.

Well, before digging into the refreshing halo-halo, we actually ate some rice meals as a snack.

‎I wasn't expecting to skip documenting that part, lol, and I kinda wonder why I didn't snap a pic.
‎
‎Maybe I was too caught up in the moment enjoying the simple snack of rice.
‎
‎As we enjoyed the halo-halo together, it really beat the heat.
‎
‎Ryzen loved the sweetness of the fruits, while my hubby valued the time we had while having a yummy snack.
‎
‎This is just a simple thing in life, but I love doing it because it builds our connections while creating memories with my family.
‎
‎For me, as long as I'm doing things together with my hubby, and our sons, even the simplest activities are special.
‎
