My Son Leaf Project Turns Into Chicken Food: His First Lesson In Taking Care Of Animals

I'm so happy to be back with another playful story.
Every time the weather is good, my son runs straight to the nearby tree.
It's his little ritual, his favorite kind of play.
And it happens almost every day, just as long as it isn't raining.
He reaches up and plucks a few leaves.
Then, he sits down with his coconut shell "bowl", one by one, he carefully removes the leaves from the stem, as if he's preparing some special dish. 😁
His brother Aiden understands what he's doing. Their imagination works. 😅
Then while he's busy with his leaf project, a few pieces fall to the ground.
Our chicken suddenly rushed over and immediately pecked at the fallen leaves.
That's when I realized, that's chicken food!
So I called my son Ryzen, informing him that the chicken likes his leaves. And instructed him to give it some more.
And at that moment, he got excited.
He happily grabbed more leaves and started giving them to the chicken.
And just like that, a simple game turned into his first lesson in taking care of animals.
I love watching him in moments like this.
As a mom, seeing him explore in his own little ways makes my heart happy.
