Lovely Weather Last Sunday Afternoon: A Bike Ride Journey
Last Sunday afternoon, the weather was so lovely.
No blazing sun, and thankfully, no rain.
Just enough clouds to keep us comfortable, and a faint rainbow peeking out from it.
Because of it, my hubby and I set out for a bike ride to the Kingdom Hall.
We had an enjoyable journey.
One thing I can't forget that afternoon, as we were riding together, was when a little boy ran beside us.
We were enjoying the moment, laughing and chatting, when suddenly, he came out of nowhere! 😆
He must've been around 8 or 9 years old, full of energy.
He started sprinting, trying to race us!
My hubby noticed it right away so he slowed down a bit, pretending to be serious about the "competition". 😂
I couldn't help but laugh cheering on my hubby, even though I know the boy will get ahead of our bike!
After a short while, he actually managed to surge forward, leaving our bike behind.
My hubby and I couldn't help but laugh as we watched him slow down and look back, probably thinking, "I'm faster than a bike!" 😆
Also, on our way back, we passed by our friend Ate Nel's garden.
There I noticed the charming mix of pink and purple flowers amidst the greenery.
I loved capturing those as they are my current favorite colors. 🥰
When we finally arrived home, the sky was orange and golden yellow.
It glows like the weather we enjoyed earlier.
But because we felt hungry from our afternoon bike ride, I decided to prepare and cook pansit bato.
To complement it, I also brewed a coffee and put some milk in it.
And that's how we settled on that day.
A simple bike ride, yet it makes me smile because of the sudden joy of a child's spirit. 😆
Until our next fun Sunday...
Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸
