The Impact of Power On Human Behavior

I have been looking at the way my country is going and i feel like those in power right from the very little position among us to the government level all have same things in common because we look up to the ones in power at the top level and we insult them but when that power gets to some people's reach, they misbehave and misuse power.

Using some scenerio as an example, when the former president of the country was in power, a lot and majority of the citizen were complaining of the kind of power and economy this government has brought on them and they were lamenting now coming back to the low level in the aspect of class captain in various schools and prefects doing their fellow mate in a way which is not suppose to be just because they are given the privilege to be in that position. Going farther to the tertiary institution where we have the head of class and some other executives representing their fellow student for the affairs of the school, most people see it as opportunity for them to extort their fellow mate because they feel no one can actually hold them for doing that.

Some even go to the extent of meeting the head of department just to lias with them and get money out of their fellow student, so imagine this kind of thing and you all expect change to happen immediately in that aspect, i don't think that is near but i know when they all realize things are not supposed to be so and reality hits on them, those who dey carry along from the beginning will now take over and making that kind of act continue spreading. I believe one day things will reduce a bit because I know it can't just go like that but gradually..
