TBT:: Fours years ago as an Engineering student (Swep Memories)

I almost forgot totally that today is actually Thursday and what is so special about today been the fourth day of the working week and also a special day for me here especially on hive, it is because every Thursday is a day for me to reflect back to things i have done in the past, achievements and some challenges i was able to overcome and also the memories with friends and family so for today i was checking through and i saw something catchy which i decided to post and also talk about too, so follow me as we go further in the post and also dig deeper.

Now going back to three years ago when i was still an undergraduate in the known university in abeokuta, nigeria which is the federal university of agriculture abeokuta and i was studying Agriculture and bio resources engineering which is a very stressful course which also requires lot of your time and the extra miles which one has to take before attaining the best results is very tasking, now back to those periods when i just gained admission as an engineering student and the hope of getting used to the stress was what motivated me at first and i was ready for any form of challenges that might arise.

So after each session of academic study, there are period when one will always go for break as a student but that was when i realised that as an engineering student you only have break when you are in your first year because different kind of extra curricular activities starts to set in and this made me fast forward to my second year in the university as an engineering student after the academic session for the second year and we were told not to go for the school break as we will be doing student work experience program.

This is the combination of all the engineering students in our level no matter the course either civil, electrical, mechanical and co, we were grouped and also mixed together then division of labor set in where we got time table for 8 weeks which is two month and we started with the repairing of tractors and some faulty machines in the school and that was one of the best experience i had then and after the completion of one week, we moved to the next section of the work experience and this period is the mechatronics department.

We learned some connections on boards and also some robotics connection and this went on for weeks before we were moved to the main road where we have the faulty ones potholes and the rest ready for mending. I remembered we didn’t use the complete material for mending the road instead we used granite, sand and cement just for patching but it was better than nothing, we did that and also had fun carrying out those things because it was entertaining for us and remembering those days I always feel it was fun and i just wish time could go back and enjoy those moments again. Memories were made and it was actually fun too. Another one kept for the future
